Delete your Baker account and data

Delete from the app
For the fastest verified deletion, use the account controls built into Baker:
- Open Baker on iOS or Android.
- Open Settings.
- Tap Account & Usage.
- Choose Delete account permanently when signed in. In Baker for Android, choose Delete guest data permanently when using Baker as a guest. Then confirm the in-app warning.
- Keep the confirmation screen open until Baker reports that deletion is complete.
The Android guest option verifies the private guest credential stored by that Baker installation, deletes the guest workspace from Baker's servers, and then creates a new empty guest workspace. Clearing local app data or uninstalling Baker by itself does notrequest deletion of server data.
Request deletion without the app
If you cannot access Baker, email [email protected] from the address associated with your account. Use the subject “Baker account deletion request” and state that you want your Baker account and associated data permanently deleted.
We may ask for additional information solely to verify that you control the account. Do not send a password, store receipt, full payment information, or authentication code by email.
A guest workspace has no email address or member identity that support can use for remote verification. Delete guest data from the same Baker installation while its private guest credential is still available. If that is no longer possible, contact support and we will explain what information can safely be used to assess the request.
Delete individual content without deleting everything
You do not need to delete an account or guest workspace to remove individual content. Baker provides in-app controls to permanently delete recipes and their revisions, conversations, uploaded recipe media, timers, and personal ingredients. Open the relevant item and use its delete action; archived recipes can be permanently removed from the archived-recipes view.
Deleting individual content does not delete the rest of your workspace, your member login, or your store subscription. Contact [email protected] if an item cannot be reached through the app.
What deletion removes
For a signed-in member, Baker permanently removes the authentication identity links and account-scoped data stored by Baker. For a guest, Baker permanently removes the guest workspace data and invalidates its private guest credential. Deleted workspace data includes recipes and revisions, variants, ingredients, timers, conversations, uploaded media, preferences, usage records, and, for members, Baker's stored entitlement link. This cannot be undone.
Limited security, transaction, or legal records may be retained when required by law. Apple and Google independently retain store transaction records under their own policies.
Subscription cancellation is separate
Deleting Baker does not cancel an App Store or Google Play subscription. Cancel or manage the subscription in Apple Subscriptions or Google Play Subscriptions. You can open the correct store-management screen from Settings → Account & Usage before deleting your account.
